There are only two known locations based in four records available: one location is represented by the records mainly in areas of well-preserved vegetation and lower anthropic pressure, in the borders of “Parque Nacional El Tepozteco” (state of

Although the species occurs within a protected area and in an area with low anthropic impact, from what is not possible to infer a continuing decline of habitat, it is near the urban area and any disruption caused by anthropic activities (fire events or agricultural or urban expansion) could drive the taxon to the CR or EX in a very short time. Therefore, considering its restricted area of occupancy and the number of locations,
