Female. Black dense ly covered with long hairs, marked with red. Head much narrower than base of mesonotum, base sinuate, front much longer than vertex; base of vertex black; a red spot on each side, with a, small tubercle on each side near eyes, and with long black hairs; ocelli four times nearer to eyes than from each other; front bulbous, black, abruptly lo wer than vertex, with a broad median reddish stripe which extends on face.

<paragraph id="3307E15F2D46EB6C60ADF889FB431379" blockId="27.[147,1343,1853,2348]" pageId="27" pageNumber="28">Tegmina three times longer than broad, anal flaps opaque red with a fuscous spot; base black, basal cell vitreous with black spot at front and base, covered with hairs; veins green toward base, fuscous toward apex; costa fuscous subcostal membrane, green: large spot on stigma, spot on inner branch of radial vein, spot on marginal vein between each longitudinal vein, a large spot on each longitudinal vein near apex, and all transverse veins and longitudinal veins near them, heavily infuscate. Wings with bases black and red spot on stigma, and border vein strongly infuscate; veins reddish, except thethree principal longitudinal veins much darker; basal half of anal flap reddish opaque.</paragraph>

It is dedicated to Professor Francisco Campos R., the most prominent scientist in Ecuador.</paragraph>
