This new species is similar to syntopic
<taxonomicName id="3A5C6286F3E97EFB6BAC8B9FD0070AE9" class="Gastropoda" family="Pomatiopsidae" genus="Tricula" higherTaxonomySource="CoL" kingdom="Animalia" lsidName="Tricula lenahani" order="Littorinimorpha" pageId="14" pageNumber="23" phylum="Mollusca" rank="species" species="lenahani">Tricula lenahani</taxonomicName>
sp. n., from which it differs by its more oval, inflated shell with more inflated whorls, a closed umbilicus and the shape of the aperture. The aperture of
<taxonomicName id="00ADEDE47FDCB3504CB62D83FE5F1565" lsidName="T. davisi" pageId="14" pageNumber="23" rank="species" species="davisi">T. davisi</taxonomicName>
sp. n. has a characteristic sinuation at the columellar peristome and a straight labral peristome, distinguishing it from
<taxonomicName id="88A475751CD88CE1F7CAA1E4609EA626" lsidName="T. lenahani" pageId="14" pageNumber="23" rank="species" species="lenahani">T. lenahani</taxonomicName>
sp. n., which has a sinuated labral peristome and a different columellar peristome, as well from the syntopic
<taxonomicName id="A7D377326A37C4252E6BB4F3FD429F25" lsidName="T. spelaea" pageId="14" pageNumber="23" rank="species" species="spelaea">T. spelaea</taxonomicName>
sp. n., the peristome of which lacks significant sinuation on both sides. From
<taxonomicName id="3530EAC9C83BDB408BE445015ED7FD9C" lsidName="T. bollingi" pageId="14" pageNumber="23" rank="species" species="bollingi">T. bollingi</taxonomicName>
Davis, 1968 and

Davis, 1968 it differs by its shell and aperture shapes.

<paragraph id="12E95DFB9E350362B7E8F4625A31A5AF" pageId="14" pageNumber="23">The shell is rounded oval-conical with four slightly inflated whorls with elevated spire and a deeper suture. The surface is milky whitish and smooth with faint growth lines. The aperture is oval ear-shaped, the peristome slightly callous attached to the body whorl and expanding only towards the columella. The labral lip lateral profile is straight, while a characteristic deep sinuation is present at the apical inner lip. The last whorl is broadening towards the aperture and from lateral view is curved upward. The umbilicus is closed.</paragraph>
