The dorsal margins of the valves are coalesced forming a curved, arched, well-developed keel extending from the head to the posterior dorsal corner, forming a small, rounded projection. E). Internal ventral part of the valves with a row of long setae that goes inside, forming a broad curve that becomes more marginal towards the posterior side (Fig. 3C–D).
