Hypostome conical, sometimes slightly elongate. Tentacles appear thick. All observed colonies were fertile. Medusa buds on a very short pedicel, arising from the distal portion of the pedicel, and just below hydranth. Fertile polyps observed with only one medusa bud at the time.
