COMMENTS: In the original description, Mathews gave the type locality as Olinda and the collecting date of the type as

but made no mention of range or number of specimens examined. The above
<typeStatus id="54B58816F255F133EB1415B5FB325E9C" box="[1102,1203,985,1007]" pageId="97" pageNumber="97" type="holotype">holotype</typeStatus>
is the only Mathews specimen in AMNH collected at Olinda on
<date id="FFB01074F255F133ECBA1279FB495959" box="[992,1224,1045,1067]" pageId="97" pageNumber="97" value="1910-12-24">24 December 1910</date>
. The number 706 on Tregellas label refers to the number of this species in

. There are four additional Mathews specimens from Olinda that I consider

, although I found only one of them in Mathews catalog. The Mathews Collection was essentially complete by 1914 when The war of 1914 ended collecting as all my men joined the forces. (
