Le pariétal est immédiatement suivi par les premières écailles du corps. Il existe un extrascapulaire indépendant situé au coin postéro-latéral du toit crânien, traversé par la portion céphalique de la ligne latérale qui suit le bord externe de los et par les pores de la commissure extrascapulaire qui longent son bord postérieur en direction du pariétal. Bien que les pores de la commissure extrascapulaire naient pas été observés sur le pariétal, la disposition des pores sur lextrascapulaire latéral et labsence dun ou de plusieurs extrascapulaires médians montrent que cette région est comparable à celle de
