Red-brown, cranium densely vested with short yellow setae, punctation weak, interstices larger than diameter of punctures; posterior part of clypeus red-brown, with large punctation and a few long setae laterally, smooth centrally; ventral part wrinkled, smooth centrally; antennae red-brown, A4 longer than A3, antennomeres gradually decreasing in length from A4 towards A8, A9 to A11 forming an indistinct club, male antennae reaching base of pronotum when laid back; gular sutures diverging apically, gular process narrow.

Average pronotal length:width ratio 1.4:1; pronotum red-brown, densely vested with short yellow setae, pronotal arch relatively broad, punctation extremely fine dorsally, densely punctured laterally, pronotum proper stronger punctation, interstices about one half diameter of punctures; prosternum light redbrown, smooth; mesosternum light red-brown, margins darkened, vested with yellowish setae; metasternum light red-brown, vested with fine setae, punctation sparse and fine; transverse sulcus on anterior part of mesosternum and mesepisternum relatively distinct on mesosternum, anterior metasternal process with two strongly sclerotized, ventrally projecting, edges; scutellum oval, red-brown.

), red-brown, with faded lighter area centrally, vested with short decumbent and longer erect setae, punctation relatively large, striae 1 and 2 obsolete behind basal third of elytra, striae 3 to 8 almost reaching apex whereas striae 9 and 10 are very weakly punctured, interstices between striae sometimes about one diameter of punctures, mostly smaller, interstices within striae also about one diameter of punctures in humeral region but becoming very small towards apex, punctation rasp-like in basal third, interstices between striae slightly carinated in apical half.
