Comments. This species has wings with developed costal and anal areas and the radial fork proximal to the medial fork. These two characteristics are typical of the species of

can be viewed as conflicting with the observed characteristics of the species of the subgenus

: Sc sclerotized, which is considered a diagnostic character of
<emphasis id="6CC3795A1A73FF9290E1CD15BD123E5E" box="[694,849,1609,1634]" italics="true" pageId="10" pageNumber="11">Neobrunettia</emphasis>
, and eyes separated by 1 facet diameter. Until new evidence is presented, this species is best considered unplaced. Specimens of this species were not studied, but the original description and the original figures of
