This species can be recognized by elongate body shape (2.53 times as long as greatest width) and narrower pleon; the pleon is usually rotationally twisted a little so the shows an angle against the plane of the pereon. Cephalon not deeply immersed in pereonite 1, anterior margin truncate, reflexed ventrally into triangular lobe separating antennula; Posterior margin of pereonite 7 slightly indented.
