This species is distinguished by the circumdeclivital margin denticulate; declivital face bearing a large triangular spine that is as much broader at apex than base; base of spine elongate, occupying approximately 1/3 of declivital length; acute spine at elytral apex arising from the sutural interstriae; and discal interstriae 1 denticulate, never prolonged into a short spine over the declivity.
