Eyes bare or pubescent, contiguous or narrowly separated. Flagellum without sensilla coeloconica; katepisternum bare; wing, mesonotum and legs usually ornamented. Third palpal segment with small sensory pit. Wing with one, rarely two radial cells, usually with 120 small dark spots; female claws long, usually very unequal, sometimes subequal on fore and mid legs, very unequal on hind leg, each without basal tooth; female with one or two seminal capsules (
