D i a g n o s i s: In specimens of this species, the epicranium and the pronotal arch are black, the pronotum proper is yellow, and the elytral disc is almost completely dark brown with the epipleural margin and elytral apex yellow. The combination of these characteristics will distinguish the members of this species from congeners. The genus
