Spiders of this species were found under and between huge granite boulders (some of them touching each other and forming recesses) in a lush rain forest. These recesses probably correspond to the Gua Sinah or Gua Panah which is the exact

locality and which were described as not being real caves (like their Malay names suggest) but just overhung caverns (
