. The present material is scarce and, in order to preserve its full integrity, only superficial observations have been made. It corresponds in every respect to the account by

, who provided a comprehensive description of this species. Polyps in our material have 1522 tentacles, and the largest one bears a maximum of a dozen pedicellate gonophores in various stages of development; owing to their opaqueness, their sex could not be ascertained; however, the radial canals and the four marginal bulbs, are comparatively more obvious, being situated more superficially.
