The species is rather constant in all characters examined, with slight variation observed only in the shape of lateral margins of parameres which may be nearly subangular instead of rounded in some specimens. Specimens from Deepwater Creek and Dead Horse Creek exhibit both subangular and circular lateral portions of parameres (and even intermediate states) and we failed to find any other character by which the specimens would differ from each other, for which reason we consider this variation as intraspecific. Moreover, the variation may be possibly partly an artifact of the preparation of the aedeagus, i.e., the shape of the parameres may partly depend on the precise orientation of the aedeagus on the slide. Slight variation was also found in the precise branching of wing veins CuA
