in the Suez Canal was reported by Schellenberg (1928), who cited the species in three stations: Kantara (
<quantity id="58279B24FFE0FFA5E523FAC1D7BBFA08" metricMagnitude="4" metricUnit="m" metricValue="4.6" pageId="14" pageNumber="241" unit="km" value="46.0">46 km</quantity>
from Port Said), Kabret (between Little Bitter Lake and Great Bitter Lake) and Port Taufiq. Since then, the species has not been recorded nor in the Suez Canal nor along the Red Sea.
