Vertex long, triangular, wide basally and narrow apically, extending extremely forward, far beyond anterior margin of eyes, approximately 4 times longer in midline than width of base, more than 1.5 times as long as length of pronotum and mesonotum combined at middle line; lateral margins distinctly elevated with many sensory pits and shallowly concave in middle in side view, disc deeply depressed, without median carina in dorsal view (

). Frons extremely narrow, with lateral margins almost closely apposed from base to apex, and only just slightly separated before frontoclypeal suture. Clypeus short, nearly triangular, median length less than one third length of frons, significantly wider than frons at apex, disc slightly elevated, with a distinct median carina and two indistinct lateral carinae. Rostrum somewhat short and thick, reaching only trochanter of middle leg, apical segment extremely short and apical margin truncate (

). Eyes dark brown, nearly oval, recessed slightly in lower margin near front. Ocelli absent. Pronotum very short, anterior margin angularly convex, posterior margin still more deeply concave, median carina red and distinctly elevated, posterior margin deeply concave, with red color and a red mark behind eyes on lateral area; with a larger red mark at ventral margin of lateroventral lobes. Mesonotum large, about 11 times longer than length of pronotum in midline, disc elevated two thirds of anterior part but flat at posterior part, median carina slender and feeble, with a red stripe along it, lateral carinae obsolete except for two flange-like vertical eminences in middle; with a wide red stripe at lateral area near tegulae; mesopleuron red. Tegulae relatively large (

Tegmina overall yellowish and semihyaline, veins ochraceous, but most of veins at distal half of tegmina red colored due to sanguineous stripe on it; with a broad red band from base to apex along stem of Sc+R; moreover, with a short red macular or stripe at middle of radial cell and apex of medial cell respectively; in addition, with a red and slightly curved fascia from apical angle to middle of tegmen along inside of outer margin; besides, with a red semicircular stripe curved upward respectively along basal and apical part of claval suture (CuP) to middle of tegmen, in addition to these stripes or fascia, with a relatively big red spot at basal and middle section on clavus respectively; veins of tegmen yellowish brown at basal half except for ScP+R stem and veins at apical half. Tegmina narrow and long, narrow basally and expanding apically, anterior and posterior margins almost subparallel, apical margin oblique, anal angle slightly rounded, about 3 times as long as widest part. Sensory pits presented on vein CA. Basal cell elongate and broad. Vein ScP+R and vein MP beginning at almost same point, emitted from upper end of basal cell, common stem ScP+R and MP obviously shorter than basal cell length; ScP+R forked distinctly distad of CuA forking. RA slightly sinuate behind, separating from ScP and single; RP forked close to apex, at level of subapical line, with two terminals; a cross vein
