In lateral view, dorsal profile of head straight or slightly concave from upper lip to transverse line that passes along posterior margin of eyes, ascending gradually in females and abruptly in mature males, until dorsal-fin origin. Dorsal profile of trunk slightly concave anteriorly, becoming slightly convex immediately anterior to adipose fin.
