Hydrorhiza stolonal, irregularly giving rise to erect, long pedicels with a distal hydrotheca. Perisarc smooth or occasionally with annulations after a constriction. Hydrotheca bell-shaped, relatively large. Rim of hydrothecal aperture with 16 blunt cusps separated by deep embayments.
