The name “s

is dedicated to the British explorer Robert Falcon Scott CVO, in order to mark the 100th anniversary of his heroic trial to be the first person to reach the geographic South

. He reached the pole second, after Roald Amundsen, and died on this ill-fated Terra Nova Expedition around the
