. At the time of description of the only specimen ever recorded, similarity in the narrow conical epiproct tip suggested conspecificity with

. Because the cerci differed (in particular, the Korean specimen lacked the anteriorly directed dorsal point present in typical

. The latter was never recorded from the Far East and I am now convinced the Korean specimen belonged to some other species.

In the meantime, several new species with epiprocts superficially resembling

were named from the area. I cannot reliably identify them from the cerci alone.

is identical with one of these recently named species a reexamination of the epiproct is indispensible. Unfortunately, the microscope preparation cannot be found in the museum and appears to be lost. Dr. D. Muranyi was extremely helpful and re-examined and drew the

, but the identity of the taxon remains unresolved.
