); dehiscence into platelets along lighter lines with slightly thickened minutely toothed margins. Spores free, pale olive in mass, almost colourless to yellow brown by TL, smooth, 8–10(–12) µm diam., spore wall thinner on one side. By SEM the inner layer of the peridium is smooth with dispersed tiny granules, and the platelet margins have a single row of outgrowths of up to 1 µm diam. (
