differs morphologically from that in the remaining western part of the range. We decided to indicate this diversity to the taxonomy of species by defining the Demre population as a separate taxon. This locality is far from the presently confirmed range of the species and needs confirmation. On the other hand it is difficult to assign it to any subspecies without examining the specimens.
