Defined by the following combination of characters: (1) MF DFW white apical ocelli medium-small (most of the range) showing a cline to very small or absent (the DFW and VFW apical ocelli, and the VFW ocellus below M1 are very small or absent in Bolivian specimens). (2) M DFW orange band moderately wide, usually opaque; orange scales somewhat extended proximally along veins. (3) M DFW iridescent band from anal margin to approximately half of the CuA2 cell in most specimens, nearly reaching CuA
