Eyes reduced, maximum diameter smaller than basal funiculus, ommatidial edge ambiguous. Petiole in lateral view trapezoidal, with steep anterior and posterior margin. Head, dorsum of mesosoma and petiole with deep and coarse puncta; dorsum of first gastral segment deeply foveolate-reticulate.
