This species is previously unknown from
<collectingCountry id="F377764D9901FFACEC1EF8FBFBB3E431" box="[890,1054,1794,1818]" name="Bahamas" pageId="7" pageNumber="6">the Bahamas</collectingCountry>
and the Neotropical Region. In the Nearctic Region it is primarily found in the southeastern states: Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and South Carolina. The species was described from Colorado and is also recorded from Kansas.
