wingspan) moths with narrow lanceolate wings, usually with a conspicuous fringe on the tornal area of the forewing. This family is separated from similar yponomeutoid groups by details of the genitalia and venation. Larvae are leaftiers and skeletonizers or stem, bulb, and seed borers of

are known globally, most in the Palaearctic. Eight species are known in North America; one is known in AB.
