Epidermis of scapus with abundant nematocysts that sometimes form groups; nematocysts of scapus and scapulus of about equal size. At least eight microcnemes. Tentacles typically 16 or more in adults, arranged octamerously or hexamerously, inner ones longer than outer ones.
