Reeve). The shell consists of eight whorls, of which the first three form a brown apex; the apex is followed by a white coloured whorl, then the dark or reddish-brown colouring on part of the shell follows. Here there are tubercles, formed by the intersection of three longitudinal (spiral)

with the axial ribs, coloured alternatively white and reddish-brown. The outer lip bears an incision above. The height of the shell is barely 4 mm, width 1.7 mm, the mouth has less than half of the shell height.
