Ears are large and virtually naked, with convex anterior margins, rounded tips, and concavity just below tips on posterior borders; tragus is narrow and tall, with virtually straight anterior margin except for very slight convexity neartip, and has concave posterior margin with small hooked basal lobe. Membranesare light brown, with hairs scattered on posterior margin of uropatagium and no definite fringe; wings are attached at base of outertoes, and calcar is long. Skull has high braincase and domed forehead, with less robust rostrum than in the Papillose Woolly Bat. Compared with the Papillose Woolly Bat, dentition is less robust overall; upper premolars are narrower; and lower premolars are smaller, especially P,.
