Body size 65 × 30 μm in protargol preparations; body ellipsoidal to lightly ovate, posterior body end rounded. Macronuclear nodule spherical to elliptical, positioned at mid­body. Contractile vacuole at mid­body with single excretory pore. Cytoplasm colorless. Oral apparatus slightly above mid­body.
