, one of us (H.B.) found the asci to contain ca. 2530 spores with lens-shaped spore bodies (Baral
<emphasis id="B90CCB104B4FFFD11AFAE23FFAEC79F3" box="[1277,1336,628,653]" italics="true" pageId="6" pageNumber="237">et al.</emphasis>
in prep.). The measurements given by Feltgen for asci (5562 × 78 μm) and ascospores (48 × 2.53 μm), are similar to our measurements in the dead state, deviating only in the length of asci. A recent collection was illustrated by Enrique Rubio from
