. Length 3.32; maximum width (across humeral angles) 1.04. Similar to apterous female in general structure and coloration with following exceptions: pronotum length/width: 0.98/1.04, humeral angles slightly prominent, apex slightly produced to a broadly rounded angle; hemelytra truncate, bearing one closed cell, with brown setae in subcosta.

. This species was collected from mangrove lagoons in the Estero Villa del Sol, El Morro and Agua Clara (

). It was most abundant in Estero Villa del Sol, where the habitat is characterized by air temperature 30 ºC, water temperature 28.5 ºC,
