Furthermore, the general color differs greatly among specimens of the new species collected in different provinces: specimens from Chongqing and Fujian are generally yellowish brown, specimens from Hunan are brown, and specimens from Guangxi are dark brown. In terms of paraprocts, there are some minor differences exhibited in the cockscomb-like process of right paraproct, the teeth usually ranging from 2 to 8.
