This species is restricted to western Oregon, as far north as Mount Hood National Forest, and northwestern California [see Hacker 1968: Fig. 32]. The record from
<normalizedToken originalValue="“Washington”">&quot;Washington&quot;</normalizedToken>
in Bousquet and Larochelle (1993: 179) is based on two specimens from Yakima County which Hacker (1968: 11) regarded as mislabeled.
