Thorax blackish brown, tegula dark gray, in some individuals thorax and tegula ferrugineous red. Forewing ferrugineous red, black at base; wide longitudinal black band extending from basal 1/7 to distal 1/10 of dorsum, occupying 2/5 width of wing, with a fine longitudinal ferrugineous red streak in middle of its distal half; cilia dark brown. ). Uncus broad at base, gradually narrowed to apex, with densely spaced long hairs (detached); apex notched at middle, with two small posterolateral processes pointed at apex. Gnathos absent. Tegumen about twice length of uncus.
