. Head length subequal to height, as long as combined length of pereonites 12, plus two-thirds of pereonite 3; nearly square when viewed laterally. Rostrum short, about one-eighth as long as remainder of head, and bent downward. Eyes oblong (triangular in male), well packed with ocelli, height slightly less than 1.5 times length which is about one-third (one-half in male) as long as head. Antenna 1 length equal to combined length of head and pereonite 1, flagellum length 1.8 times peduncle and 1.8 times as high. Maxilliped outer lobes slightly elongated, about three times as long as wide, strongly serrated along entire inner margin, outer margin smooth with a few fine setae.

Posterodistal margin of pereonites 27 produced posteriorly. Coxae increasing in length from pereonite 1 to 4, then decreasing to 7, ventral margin concave in coxa 5 and deeply notched in coxa 6. Pereopod 1 simple, anterior margin of basis with slight bulge at proximal third, propus with posterior margin finely serrated and distal margin as wide as dactyl. Pereopod 2 subchelate, carpal process reaching to middle of propus. Pereopod 5 about 1.2 times as long as pereopod 3, basis 1.2 times as long as ischium and merus combined, propus 0.7 times as long as merus and carpus combined and 0.9 times as long as basis. Pereopod 6 carpus, anterior margin with four spines. Pereopod 7 with complete segmentation, basis 1.3 times as long as ischium to dactyl combined, with a strongly produced posterodistal lobe reaching half way along the posterior margin of merus; carpus and propus not produced at anterodistal corner; dactyl pointed without scales.</paragraph>

Uropod 1 protopod 1.6 times as long as exopod, distal half of outer margin of protopod with large teeth, outer margin and distal half of inner margin of exopod with large teeth, both margins of endopod with large teeth. Uropod 3 protopod twice as long as wide and 1.7 times as long as exopod, inner margin of exopod and both margins of endopod finely serrated. Telson separate from double urosomite, triangular with rounded distal margin, slightly broader than long.</paragraph>
