This widespread eastern Nearctic species (Stark 2004, DeWalt et al. 2012b) is represented in
<collectingRegion box="[189,301,1399,1423]" country="United States of America" name="Michigan" pageId="8" pageNumber="170">Michigan</collectingRegion>
only by two records. The recent record from 2011 suggests additional records will accrue with summer collecting efforts, but likely mainly from the northern Lower Peninsula and Upper Peninsula. The collecting trip in June-July 2006 by the first author across the southern half of the Lower Peninsula did not produce material of this species.
