) arises medial on the mesepimeral ridge, anterior to the mesofurcal arm, inserts on the posterior thoracic spiracle (sp2), which additionally is surrounded by pl2-t2b (anterodorsal), pl2a-fu2 (posterodorsal), and pl2-cx2b (ventral). The small tracheal occlusor muscle sp3occ is located submedial of pl2a-fu2.
