. Wings usually present, length variable. Ocellar setae I absent, setae III longer than setae II. Postocular setae 5 pairs. Antennae 7- or 8-segmented, segment I without dorsal apical setae, II with MD setae, III and IV with forked sense-cones, IIIVI with microtrichia. Mesosternum with sternopleural suture. Spinula present on mesosternum only. Tarsi 2-segmented. Abdominal tergites VIVII with paired ctenidia, ctenidia mesad of spiracles on VIII.
