Strains MFLUCC 14-0087, MFLUCC 14-0148 and MFLUCC 15-0262 had the identical sequences to

. The ITS and GAPDH sequences of them 100% match with many different unpublished species. Blastn researches with ACT sequence of them results in 99% identity with the ex-holotype culture of
<taxonomicName lsidName="C. fructicola" pageId="16" pageNumber="39" rank="species" species="fructicola">C. fructicola</taxonomicName>
strain ICMP 18581 (GenBank JX009501) isolated from
<taxonomicName class="Magnoliopsida" family="Rubiaceae" genus="Coffea" higherTaxonomySource="CoL" kingdom="Plantae" lsidName="Coffea arabica" order="Gentianales" pageId="16" pageNumber="39" phylum="Tracheophyta" rank="species" species="arabica">Coffea arabica</taxonomicName>
in Thailand (

strain CBS 125502 (GenBank KJ955336) as mentioned above. Their ascomata, conidia, asci and ascospores were also similar. Conidia were the same size as the ex-type strain of the pathogen
