Palpi with the second segment long and erect, densely covered with yellow brown scales ventrally; the third segment thin and pointed, prominently protruding. Wings upperside dark brown, forewing cell spots conjoined, lower one larger, rectangular, spot in space CuA1 largest, spots in spaces M3, R3-R5 small, spot in space CuA2 pale yellow; hindwing without spots. Forewing underside brown covered densely with yellow brown scales at costa and apex, broadly white along dorsum distally; markings similar to those on upperside; hindwing underside ochreous with white spots in spaces CuA2, CuA1, M3, M2-M1 and Sc+R1, of which the spot in space M2-M1 largest, those in spaces CuA1 and Sc+R1 large and sub-equal, dot in space M3, all these white spots surrounded by black ferruginous spots.</paragraph>
