<paragraph pageId="0" pageNumber="1">
Currently, there are 99 species included in this genus, with 74 recorded from China. In the last five years, the total number of species from the country has increased considerably, due to the considerable attention paid to them by many arachnologists. They are widely distributed in southern China, such as Hainan (six species), Taiwan (two species), Zhejiang (four species), Yunnan (ten species), Guangxi (two species), Guizhou (five species), Sichuan (eight species), Chongqing (nine species), Hunan (19 species), Hubei (four species) and Jiangxi (seven species) provinces.
