. Distinct from the other species of the group by the following characters: second antennomere approximately two times shorter than the first one. Lateral sides of the pronotum parallel on the basal fifth of the pronotum length. Pronotum with two symmetric dorsal impressions on the anterior half of the pronotum length (with variable extension and deepness, absent in some specimens). Elytral surface microreticulated between the punctation. Parameres as long as the median lobe (setae excluded), with preapical constriction and with rounded apex (fig. 7c).
