<paragraph blockId="3.[227,1127,264,686]" pageId="3" pageNumber="4">DIAGNOSIS. The new species is very similar in coloration and long antennae to species from the “sericatus” species group. It differs from them in a stockier body, a rather narrow pronotum, and the absence of a tooth on its lateral margin at the base, characteristic of the “sericatus” group. It differs from most species of this group in the rather distinct punctation of the body. Reliably differs by the structure of aedeagus and a characteristic deep notch with sclerotized edge on the parameres.</paragraph>
