) based on morphological examination. Phylogenetic analyses indicated the placement of this taxon within

in having non-complanate, cylindrical conidia with globose to subglobose appendages. However, conidial appendages of
<taxonomicName lsidName="Di. indica" pageId="0" pageNumber="83" rank="species" species="indica">Di. indica</taxonomicName>
are attached at the subapical cells, while appendages of
<taxonomicName lsidName="Di. musae" pageId="0" pageNumber="83" rank="species" species="musae">Di. musae</taxonomicName>
are attached at the central cells of the outer cell-row. The conidial size of
<taxonomicName lsidName="Di. indica" pageId="0" pageNumber="83" rank="species" species="indica">Di. indica</taxonomicName>
