This genus is recorded here from

for the first time, based on the single female listed below. According to

, the genus “may eventually be found to be a synonym of

” from Africa. Currently it is distinguished by the longer mouth cone, more strongly elevated ocellar region, and Y-shaped metafurca. Only one species,

Priesner, is recognized in

. This remains based on a female from Bogor, Java, although in the Australian National Insect Collection, Canberra, there is one female from
<collectingCountry id="AFBCB4F3FFCCFFE6B7EDFABFFB46FAAA" box="[1172,1272,1302,1327]" name="Thailand" pageId="4" pageNumber="239">Thailand</collectingCountry>
that is closely similar in structure and colour. In that collection there is also a slide with two damaged females and a male that were collected in northern

. There is also a further female collected in

in 2017 that is closely similar in structure but with antennal segment IV strongly shaded in the apical half, but not as black as in the
<typeStatus id="08104AC1FFCCFFE6B1A0FA63FC85FA66" box="[729,827,1482,1507]" pageId="4" pageNumber="239" type="holotype">holotype</typeStatus>
and female from
<collectingCountry id="AFBCB4F3FFCCFFE6B77DFA63FBD5FA66" box="[1028,1131,1482,1507]" name="Thailand" pageId="4" pageNumber="239">Thailand</collectingCountry>
. The specimen from
<collectingCountry id="AFBCB4F3FFCCFFE6B620FA63FA22FA66" box="[1369,1436,1482,1507]" name="China" pageId="4" pageNumber="239">China</collectingCountry>
listed appears to be similar to the specimens recorded from
<collectingCountry id="AFBCB4F3FFCCFFE6B04DFA47FC20F982" box="[820,926,1518,1543]" name="Australia" pageId="4" pageNumber="239">Australia</collectingCountry>
, but further collections are needed in order to assess the variation within and between populations, as it remains unclear if the available specimens represent colour variants of
<emphasis id="E5DF2871FFCCFFE6B21AF99EFE18F9CB" box="[355,422,1591,1614]" italics="true" pageId="4" pageNumber="239">tenuis</emphasis>
or new species. The following description is based on the specimen from
<collectingRegion id="156F3A81FFCCFFE6B79CF99EFA81F9CB" box="[1253,1343,1591,1614]" country="China" name="Yunnan" pageId="4" pageNumber="239">Yunnan</collectingRegion>
