). It is clear that indeed some variability exists, i.e. in the size of the proximodorsal expansion of the ls, as well as in the ventral expansion of the ms. Some of this variability might be a result of different positions of these organs between cover slip and glass slide. Therefore, we deem all of these populations to be conspecific.
