This species can be diagnosed by the following combination of characters: chestnut and testastaceous colouration; postocular region slightly longer than anteocular region of head; lateral carina extending full length of pronotum; discal cell approximately twice as long as wide; macrochaetae of abdomen separated from adjacent microchaetae by bare circular areas; parameres roughly parallel-sided; posterior margin of pygophore without ventral projection.
